Ms. Auger holds a master’s degree of science (M.Sc.) in finance from HEC Montreal and a graduate degree in business and financial administration from ESCEM-Poitiers in France. She is also a member of the Quebec Certified Professional Accountant order (CPA-CGA). She teaches corporate finance and provides tailor-made training for executives.
Her field of expertise range from financial planning, analysis, investment & financing decisions, cash flow management all the way to business valuation. These subjects are covered in the undergraduate and graduate classes she has delivered at HEC Montreal and Sherbrooke University since 1996. Over the past twenty years, she has offered numerous executive training programs abroad in corporations or universities on behalf of HEC Montreal, mainly in Asia, Middle East and Africa. She has also led several specialized seminars for organizations such as the Institute of Canadian Bankers, the Fonds de solidarité du Quebec (FSTQ), the Quebec Ministry of Tourism, the Order of Licensed General Accountants and the Quebec Federation of Municipalities. Among her consulting mandates, we find assistance to the Quebec General Auditor in financial matters relating to the financial statements of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ). Over the past few years, her individualized interventions have enabled leaders from different industries to better understand and use their business financial information.
Ms. Auger has published articles on access to bank financing and managing growth for SME. During her career, she wrote numerous educational documents. The Order of Chartered Professional Accountants of Montreal awarded her the 2017 Volunteer Award, for her involvement as treasurer of the Board of Directors of the YWCA of Montreal and founding member of the Femmessor Montérégie Investment Fund. She currently sits as treasurer on the Board of directors of CAE-Capital Rive-Sud, a regional business assistance center providing advice and funding to businesses.
