Mr. Dubé holds a master’s degree in human resources management from HEC Montréal, a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a certificate in administration from UQTR. He is also a member of the Quebec CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional).
He joined the Department of Human Resources Management of HEC Montréal in June 2015 as a full-time lecturer. He teaches mainly in the BBA and Graduate Diploma program in Montreal and internationally. He was the coach of the Commercial Games Team (HR) and a member of the Board of Directors of AEHEC.
Prior to joining HEC on a full-time basis, he was Director of Human Resources and Director of Operations for Brossard Tool Rental (LOU-TEC). Previously, he spent seven years in the human resources department at Lakeshore Hospital, which became the West Island HSSC. There, he was a generalist HR professional before becoming the Director of the department for four years. Prior to working in the health sector, Patrick worked in different organizations, always in a role of human resources manager. Since 2004, he has been a part-time lecturer at HEC Montréal where he taught various courses on personnel management, management and human resources management, as well as mobilization.
Patrick Dube has developed skills and a solid expertise in staffing, working relationships, coaching managers, conflict management, organizational development (mainly in support of managers), management change and strategy development, human and organizational resources. He is known for his dynamism, efficiency and strong leadership.
